We started back in year 2000 to provide a quality, relatively inexpensive alternative in recording, producing, and artist development. The idea originally was spawned by artists Forrest Lee Jr., and Lee Anderson. Both excellent singers/songwriters/musicians, Forrest and Lee strived to create a network of artists and songwriters between the West Coast and Nashville.
Today Lee lives in Fort Worth, TX and is the lead guitarist and vocalist in The Jesse Brand Train. The combination of Jesse Brand's engaging rootsy vocals and Lee's stage presence & honky tonk attitude have started to create a buzz in the Texas Music scene. They're currently working heavily throughout Texas performing at venues of all sizes, radio shows, and various charitable events.
Forrest is now living just outside of Nashville and if you haven't heard him... you soon will. After finishing production on "South Padre Sand" at Forrest's new Nashville studio, he toured as the lead guitar player for Sony BMG recording artist Jace Everett, soon after he began writing and pickin' with Trent Willmon. Forrest recently produced the "Jesse Brand Train" album, at Loretta Lynn's Coal Miners Studio in TN.
Forrest has recently completed radio tours with rising star and Broken Bow/Hotshot recording artist Krista Marie. While currently finishing his new Blues album he's also touring with Jay Taylor and occasionally with Lucas Hoge.
In a more recent endeavor, Forrest has also began creating one of the finest lines of boutique guitars in country music. Forrest Custom Guitars is specializing in custom bender telecasters made with only the finest electronics and custom finishes. His guitars are being purchased by pickers throughout the world and within the entertainment community. He's most recently completed custom guitars for Nashville sessionist & "Nashville Star" band leader, John Bohlinger.
Outlaw Music Productions is still a fully functioning organization that is not only getting more attention due to Forrest and Lee's personal success, their contact list is consistently growing.
