I'd also like to thank those folks who have stuck with me over the years, and especially over the past couple of years.  As many of you know I've been having a rough go of it health-wise as of late, and it's unfortunately prevented me from gigging as much as I'd like.  Thanks so much for your thoughts, prayers, and support... I truly appreciate it.

However, like most situations in life, you have to pick yourself up by the bootstraps and get busy living... and health issues or not, it's time to start pickin'!

Therefore, I want to tell you a little about my new CD "South Padre Sand".  This kick-ass record was written almost entirely between me and my friend, Nashville Session Guitarist/Producer, Forrest Lee Jr.  We sat down one weekend and decided to knock out a record, and this is the result.  We've made sure we have plenty of songs about our great state of Texas. 

I'm also happy to say that we got the great Redd Volkaert to play on this album... he and Forrest are friends from their days back in Nashville, and he was more than happy to contribute to the cause.  You're a "Hoss" Redd!

Also featured is our buddy Don Pawlak from Dale Watson's Lone Stars.  Don worked with Forrest and I back in the early days in the Pacific Northwest, and he's a MONSTER Pedal Steel player.  Do yourself a favor and catch a Dale Watson show soon!
